With the exibition “Paesaggi d’Italia” by Vittorio Sgarbi, the Museum of Modern Art Mario Rimoldi in Cortina d’Ampezzo, at Casa delle Rules, opened the cultural season of summer 2021 opens from 25 June.
The great collective exhibition “Paesaggi d’Italia“, designed From Sauro Moretti and Nino Ippolito, photographed the state of contemporary art in Italy by collecting a hundred works of artists of the national and international scene selected by Vittorio Sgarbi, linked to the cultural project “I Mille di Sgarbi”.
The exhibition will be open until October 3rd.
The Curator Vittorio Sgarbi: “At the artists he was asked to confront the theme of the landscape, portrayed in his charm and his scrubs. But also inner landscapes, places of the soul that move the sensitivity and delicacy of the artist. And so the views evoke loves, stories, fragrances, memories, places, people, with works that turn out to be in perfect dialogue with the masterpieces of the art of the twentieth century of the Mario Museum Rimoldi.
One thing is certain: Italy is the most beautiful country in the world. And it is not a common place: it is a fact, objective, qualitative and quantitative. Italy has in its nature a beauty DNA that distinguishes it with respect to any other country. Italy is a geographical, historical and spiritual expression, and Italy is the name of beauty. Therefore, it cannot fail to have the beauty as a constitutional element, and literature, music, art, nature and landscape are all elements without which Italy would not be what it is “.
The exhibition “Paesaggi d’Italia” is promoted by the cultural association The State of Art in collaboration with the Mario Rimoldi Museum of Modern Art, the Regole d’Ampezzo and Ars – Cinema, Exhibitions, Music, Theater, with the patronage of the Province of Belluno and the Municipality of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
